A Taste Of Our Resources

“Successes of DLT initiatives as a result of the MTSS project: As a district, we have realigned practices, implemented a vetting process to ensure evidence-based practices are being used, adopted a systematic approach to support high-level cases, and regrouped on roles/responsibilities for site-level teams. Our MTSS team is more cohesive and has developed into a community of shared values. We are developing a common language to allow us all to collaborate and support MTSS implementation. For example, we have developed a framework that helps us reflect on our current practice and where we need to take the next steps.”
DLT Members
“Since its inception, the MTSS project has built statewide capacity for MTSS implementation through a coaching hierarchy that includes state coordinators, district-level external coaches, and school-level internal coaches. During the 2023–24 school year, 12 external coaches supported districts across Nevada, receiving training and ongoing support from the Nevada PBIS TA Center State Coordinators. Survey results showed that all coaches were highly satisfied with the information, support, and communication they received, with 92% reporting satisfaction or high satisfaction with their ability to implement what they learned. Coaches highlighted the State MTSS Coaching Coordinator’s expertise, responsiveness, and ongoing support as critical to their success.”
